2015 was a year of recovery for the Italian real estate market. As reported in the Quarterly Note of Revenue Agency, in the second quarter there was an increase of 6.8% compared to the same period of 2014. In particular, the residential sector recorded 116,514 transactions, representing a + 8.2% compared to the last year. The best performance was recorded in the North (10.3%), particularly in big cities, such as Milan, Turin and Genoa, followed by the area of Lake Maggiore and Lake Como.
